I told you. I’ve been blending up a storm over here ever since I bought my new blender. I am on a smoothie craze and this banana oatmeal smoothie has become my favorite breakfast!
Ingredients:
1 cup vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 banana – sliced
3/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 tsp. cinnamon
The instructions for this banana oatmeal smoothie are too simple…
Here it is: Add everything to the blender!
I’ve also made this smoothie with chocolate milk instead of vanilla and skipped the banana. I like both versions an equal amount, but I think the chocolate milk version is a bit more indulgent.
Can you use quick oats?
Hi Dawn, you certainly can use quick oats for this! It will end up with the same taste, but a little less texture than with old fashioned oats. Let me know if you try it and how you like it :)
