I am a cookbook junkie. I like to page through them to get ideas or just to learn new techniques. My absolute favorite cookbook for straight-up cooking knowledge is the Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook. My parents had one while I was growing up and I was shocked to see all the tips that this book offers. They show you how long to cook meat based on the type and weight, have tons of basic, classic recipes and in the new version they also have 1,000 NEW recipes! You might wonder why I’m hyping this cookbook up so much. It’s obviously because someone is going to get a FREE one in my very first cookbook giveaway!
