Summer has come to an (unofficial) end. I think after Labor Day we all feel it. That sadness mixed with excitement that summer is over and fall is coming. I know it can’t just be me! With the warm days numbered, I’ve been trying to think of things I could make that just reminded me of summer, so I can take advantage of these last few hot days! I think BBQ ribs are a huge summer staple, right? So, I made them.
Oven Baked Ribs Ingredients:
3 to 4 lb. rack of pork ribs
2 Tbsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. onion powder
2 cups BBQ sauce
1 cup lemon lime pop
Pre-heat your oven to 350-degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and place your ribs in the center. Mix all the dry ingredients together for a rub and rub the ribs, both sides, until coated evenly with the dry seasonings.
Next, whisk together your BBQ sauce (I always use Sweet Baby Rays!) and pop.
Brush both sides with the sauce.
Place in the oven, covered with tin foil, for 45 minutes. Then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes. The entire time they are in the oven, you’ll want to brush more sauce on the top to keep them from drying out.
That’s it!

this looks soooo good!
also, what do you mean by “x-degrees”? (sorry if that’s a stupid question! :D )
By X, I meant 350-degrees! I had to go back and check my notes from when I cooked it and completely forgot to fix it :) Thank you for catching it! Definitely not a stupid question ;)
you’re welcome : ) I can’t wait to make this! I’m in Chicago too and this warm weather needs to leave (permanently) so I can start using the oven more.
WELL THAT JUST LOOKS DELIGHTFUL
