Hey y’all! I’m in Atlantic City right now for my friend Theresa’s bachelorette party. Since we’re already out celebrating, I figured I’d share this recipe for red sangria with you so that you may also celebrate the fact that it’s almost the weekend. Make a pitcher and share it with some friends tomorrow. Or don’t share, I don’t judge.
Red Sangria Recipe:
1 bottle red wine (I used a Cabernet Sauvignon)
1/2 cup orange liqueur
1 orange – sliced
1 lemons – sliced
1 granny smith apple – cut into small wedges
Handful of rinsed blueberries
Ginger ale
Get all your fruit chopped up and set aside.
Pour your wine into a large pitcher, then drop all the fruit in gently. Stir and let sit for 1 hour or over night.
If you’re adding ginger ale, you’ll want to add it when serving so it stays nice and bubbly. To serve, pour over ice and top with 2-4 ounces of the ginger ale depending on how much you want to dilute it. If you’re going sans the ale, just serve over ice!
If you prefer a white sangria, I have a recipe for that as well!

Enjoy this mid-May weekend! I know I will!
this looks so delicious!! I can’t wait to try this for myself.
Thank you Rosemond! You’ll have to let me know when you make it and what you think ;)
